Lion Goddess Dream Elixir
Each bottle of Lion Goddess Dream Elixir is made from 3.5 grams of authentic Egyptian Blue Lotus. The dried blossoms are extracted in MCT oil made from organic coconuts, and then triple-filtered into each bottle. Refrigerate the elixir for longevity; warm briefly in your hand and shake well before using. One blossom is included along with each bottle, revealing the true appearance of the flower and improving awareness of the source of your experience of the elixir. Be aware that most of the products sold in the U.S. as “Blue Lotus” are actually a different tropical water lily (with saturated blue-purpleish petals); the properties are not the same. How to use the elixir?
TO USE: Dispense 1-2 full droppers (each dropper is 1mL) under the tongue and hold for 30 seconds before swallowing. For more intense experiences, slowly test increasing dosage up to 6 full droppers. If you choose instead to add it to tea or another beverage, the experience will be far more subtle due to the effects of heat and first-pass metabolism.
Is this authentic blue lotus?
Yes! The Nymphaea nouchali v. caerulea blossoms are sourced directly from a verified organic grower in Thailand. Only real blue lotus contains meaningful amounts of both nuciferine and apomorphine (psychoactive alkaloids).
This is not the only authentic product available to purchase online, but impostor plants make up most of the current market. Other water lilies may have their own medicine to offer, but they have vastly different phytochemical profiles.
Why “Lion Goddess”?
Each bottle is handcrafted by Muse, and her personal journey to connecting with Egyptian Blue Lotus started with Sekhmet, the lion goddess of destruction and healing. She is the One who loves Ma’at, and illusions burn away in her presence. In the Memphis story of creation, she is the mother of Nefertum, who emerged from a blue lotus flower in the primordial ocean.
What makes it a “Dream” elixir?
As the symbol of creation formed in the waters of Nun, Egyptian Blue Lotus exists simultaneously in the material and dream world. It is a portal through the surreal space between, easing the dreamer’s passage and allowing more energy to flow in both directions.
What can you expect to experience?
Egyptian blue lotus is not typically a “psychedelic” experience, but you will likely experience an altered state of consciousness. It can range from feeling “like a bumblebee napping on a flower blossom in sunlight” to a sense of euphoria with heightened sensory awareness. Taken sublingually, as recommended, these effects will begin after about fifteen minutes and last around 3 hours at lower doses (1-3 droppers); and up to 5-6 hours at higher doses (4+ droppers). Drinking the elixir as an additive in tea will reduce both the intensity and duration, and may take 30-60 minutes to take effect.
Setting: Water & Earth
Consider combining your Blue Lotus experience with water and/or earth rituals. For example, a warm bath while focusing on your root chakra; or finding a safe place to lay down on earth or stone next to a living body of water for the duration of your experience.
